Installation Guide

This guide explains how to download, install, activate and start using GoldGuardian EA on the MetaTrader 5 desktop platform.

Complete each step in the order shown below. New users should first install and test the EA on a demo trading account.

1. System Requirements

Before installation, confirm that you have:

A Windows computer or compatible VPS
MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal
An active MT5 trading account
A stable internet connection
A valid GoldGuardian EA license key
Access to your Anakapaifx customer account
The GoldGuardian EA customer download package

GoldGuardian EA is intended for MetaTrader 5. It cannot be installed directly as an Expert Advisor in MetaTrader 4.

2. Download the Customer Package

Then open:

My Account
→ Downloads
→ GoldGuardian EA
→ Download

The customer package normally contains:

GoldGuardian EA.ex5
Default Setting.set
Panduan Penggunaan.pdf
Installation Guide.pdf

The editable MQ5 source code is not included in the standard customer package.

3. Extract the ZIP Package

The downloaded product may be supplied as a ZIP file.

To extract the files:

Locate the downloaded ZIP package
Right-click the ZIP file
Select Extract All or Open
Save the extracted folder in a location you can easily find

Do not attempt to attach the ZIP file directly to a MetaTrader 5 chart.

4. Install GoldGuardian EA in MetaTrader 5

Open MetaTrader 5 and follow these steps:

File
→ Open Data Folder
→ MQL5
→ Experts

Copy the following file into the Experts folder:

GoldGuardian EA.ex5

After copying the file:

Return to MetaTrader 5
Open the Navigator panel
Right-click Expert Advisors
Select Refresh

You may also close and restart MetaTrader 5.

GoldGuardian EA should then appear under:

Navigator
→ Expert Advisors

5. Install the Default Setting File

The supplied SET file contains the recommended default parameters for the Product version.

You may copy the file into:

File
→ Open Data Folder
→ MQL5
→ Presets

Copy:

Default Setting.set

The SET file may also be loaded directly from another folder when the EA input window is open.

6. Allow WebRequest for License Activation

GoldGuardian EA requires access to anakapaifx.com for online license activation and validation.

In MetaTrader 5, open:

Tools
→ Options
→ Expert Advisors

Enable:

Allow WebRequest for listed URL

Click Add and enter:

https://anakapaifx.com

Use the main domain exactly as shown. Do not add spaces and do not enter the full REST API address.

Click:

OK

7. Open the Recommended Chart

Open the trading symbol recommended for the supplied GoldGuardian EA setup.

For the current GoldGuardian EA configuration:

Platform: MetaTrader 5
Symbol: XAUUSD
Timeframe: M1

Broker symbol names may include suffixes such as XAUUSD.a, XAUUSDm or XAUUSD-pro. Confirm that the symbol represents gold and supports trading.

8. Attach GoldGuardian EA to the Chart

From the Navigator panel:

Open Expert Advisors
Find GoldGuardian EA
Drag the EA onto the XAUUSD chart

The EA Properties window will open.

9. Load the Default Setting

In the EA Properties window:

Inputs
→ Load

Select:

Default Setting.set

Confirm that the parameters are loaded before continuing.

Do not change recovery, lot, grid or risk parameters unless you understand how they affect exposure and margin usage.

10. Enter Your License Key

Locate the GoldGuardian license input in the EA parameters.

It may appear as:

InpLicenseKey

Copy the complete license key from your Anakapaifx customer account and paste it into the input field.

To view your license:

My Account
→ GoldGuardian Licenses

Make sure:

The full license key is copied
There are no extra spaces before or after the key
The license status is Active
You are using the latest supported GoldGuardian EA version

11. Allow Algorithmic Trading

In the EA Properties window, enable:

Allow Algo Trading

Then click:

OK

Also make sure the main MetaTrader 5 Algo Trading button is enabled.

When enabled, the button normally appears active or highlighted.

12. Confirm Successful License Activation

After attaching the EA, check the GoldGuardian dashboard and the MetaTrader 5 Experts tab.

A successful activation may display a status similar to:

LICENSE: VALID
LICENSE: ACTIVE
ACTIVATION SUCCESSFUL

Your customer dashboard should also show the MT5 trading account as an active activation.

Check:

My Account
→ GoldGuardian Licenses
→ Activations

13. Three-Account Activation Limit

One GoldGuardian EA license may be activated on a maximum of three active MT5 trading accounts.

Example:

Account 1: Active
Account 2: Active
Account 3: Active
Account 4: Rejected

The activation limit applies to MT5 account login numbers.

It does not refer to:

The number of charts
The number of computers
The number of VPS installations
The number of MetaTrader terminals

The same authorised MT5 login may normally be used on another device, subject to license validation and account information.

14. Changing an Activated MT5 Account

If one of the three registered MT5 accounts is no longer used, contact Support to request an activation review.

Provide:

Your order number
Your customer-account e-mail
The old MT5 account login
The new MT5 account login
The broker-company name
The reason for the change

Activation changes may require verification. Activation slots are not intended for unlimited account rotation or license sharing.

15. Confirm the EA Is Running

The GoldGuardian dashboard should display information such as:

License status
Current EA status
Trading symbol and timeframe
Balance and equity
Free margin
Current spread
Active positions
Pending orders
Basket information
Grid and session information

The dashboard may initially show:

READY / SCANNING
WAITING FOR SESSION
OCO PENDING ORDERS
SPREAD FILTER BLOCK

These messages do not necessarily indicate an error.

16. Common License Errors

Invalid License Key

Check:

The key was copied completely
The license status is Active
The correct Product version is installed
The order is paid and completed

WebRequest Not Allowed

Return to:

Tools
→ Options
→ Expert Advisors

Confirm that the following domain is listed:

https://anakapaifx.com

Maximum Activation Reached

All three MT5 activation slots are already in use. Contact Support if an old account needs to be reviewed.

License Server Connection Error

Confirm:

The internet connection is active
The website can be opened in a browser
The firewall is not blocking MetaTrader 5
The VPS date and time are correct
HTTPS connections are permitted

Unsupported EA Version

Download and install the latest GoldGuardian EA version available in My Account.

17. EA Does Not Appear in Navigator

Confirm that:

The file is named with the EX5 extension
The file is inside MQL5/Experts
The file is not still inside the ZIP package
MetaTrader 5 was refreshed or restarted
You are using MetaTrader 5, not MetaTrader 4

18. EA Does Not Open Orders

Possible reasons include:

Algo Trading is disabled
The license is not valid
The current time is outside the enabled session
The current spread exceeds the configured limit
The market is closed
Free margin is insufficient
The broker rejected the order
An existing basket or pending order is already active

Review the MetaTrader 5 Experts and Journal tabs for the full message.

19. Updating GoldGuardian EA

When a new version is released:

Log in to My Account
Download the updated customer package
Close or safely manage existing trades
Remove the old EA from the chart
Replace the old EX5 file in MQL5/Experts
Restart or refresh MetaTrader 5
Attach the updated EA
Load the correct SET file
Enter the existing valid license key

Do not replace an actively trading EA without first understanding the effect on open positions and pending orders.

20. Security Instructions

Never share:

Your Anakapaifx account password
Your GoldGuardian license key publicly
Your MT5 trading password
Your MT5 investor password
Your banking password
Your card PIN or security code
Your one-time authentication code

GoldGuardian license activation does not require your MT5 trading password.

21. Before Live Trading

Complete this checklist:

The EA was tested on a demo account
The license status is valid
The correct XAUUSD symbol is used
The correct timeframe is selected
The Default Setting file is loaded
Algo Trading is enabled
WebRequest is configured
The account has sufficient free margin
The configured lot size is understood
The grid and recovery risks are understood
The trading account is being monitored

22. Important Risk Reminder

GoldGuardian EA uses automated trading logic that may include grid recovery, Fibonacci or Martingale position progression.

These methods may increase open exposure, floating loss, lot size and margin usage when the market moves against the active basket.

GoldGuardian EA does not guarantee profit or protection from loss.
